Energy Pathfinder (previously known as Oil & Gas Pathfinder) provides a real-time view of energy projects including decommissioning on the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS). It has recently been expanded to include activity to support the energy transition including Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS).

OGA have listened to industry and understand early information about emerging projects is helpful. As a result, Energy Pathfinder provides visibility of activity for new oil and gas field developments, decommissioning and projects to support the energy transition e.g. CCS on the UKCS.

Energy Pathfinder information includes the location, type of development, and timings of business opportunities. It supplies contact details within companies and increases visibility to the contracting community. Operators will also provide details of upcoming tenders as well as opportunities for the supply chain to offer solutions to aid their project delivery.

The industry is supportive of Energy Pathfinder, as are influential industry bodies that find it useful for the supply chain to plan ahead and be in a more competitive position to win a share of UKCS contracts.

The system is designed to provide general information only. While every effort is made to ensure the information provided is accurate, it does not constitute legal or professional advice.
